TACEY WILKINSON c.1735-c.1810 w/o William HEWITT
Who was Tacey Wilkinson (c.1735-c.1810) who married William Hewitt, Sr. (c.1735-d.by 1816MS)? She and William had first son John in 1761 Brunswick Co., VA. May have married there but do not know for certain. Other sons: James, William, Daniel, Solomon, 3 or 4 girls (one of whom may be Anna).
Tacey was sometimes used as a Quaker name. She probably died in Wilkes Co., GA by 1810. The only other Tacy Wilkinson I've been able to find was a Quaker girl who left with her family from VA to Ohio and later married out of the Quaker faith. But that Tacy was much younger than my Tacey.
Any clues appreciated. A check of the Wilkinson & Kindred Families book does not list Tacey Wilkinson. Tacey and her Hewitt husband were in VA>NC>SC>GA where she likely died before her husband William left for MS with his grandson.
Tacey has been a brick wall. Would like to chip away at it.
