OK. This actually fits into the info that I have been piecing together about the Claiborne/Grainger folks. Remember that Richard M. Cardwell and wife Sarah, along with family, show up in Claiborne Co. before moving to Grainger. The folks in that community were very heavily Native America or Melungeon.
