Milton, It seems as though we have communicated before, but I had a computer crash and lost everything, had to start all over........sigh..
Moses Wilkerson married Aletha Anderson at Ft. Boonesborough before 1787.They had the following children:
William b 1785, John b 1785 (twin of William), Henry b unknown, Abraham b 1792, Hirum b 1797, Hawley b 1798, Nimrod b unknown, Acena b 1795 and Sallie b 1804.I dont know Hirums wife at this point and some of the birth dates have not been verified but they are I believe pretty close in proximation. If you wish, feel free to email me any time.I am of the Wilkerson line through moses, william, william Hanley, clarence P, to Ruth Agnes Wilkerson who then married into the Husman line-being my grandfather Herbert Albert.I have conflicting reports as to who Moses father is.One report has him as William Wilkerson from VA, and I saw another report that has him as John Wilkerson from England.I have not been able as of yet to confirm or deny either one.I do have a letter written by my gg grandfather William Hanley, with a brief history of the wilkersons starting with moses and ending with his life story. While there are no dates to speak of, there is enough information that I can deduce a few dates. The Wilkersons are a long line of "warriors", some having served in the war of 1812, some having been at fort boonesborough, and some having served in the government in some way ie: in the state legislature, as a judge etc.
