I do not believe there is a connection. Carl Frederick Wilhelm Wilke had 4 children: Otto Agusta Ferdinand Wilke (b. 1875), Emil Richard Theodore Wilke (b. 1875 and twin to Otto, neither ever married), Bertha Wilke (b. 1861), and August Frederick William Wilke (b. 1859) m. Rosalie Nash. I descend from August Frederick William Wilke. August settled in Dodge County Minnesoata. I can't find a Karl Otto Heinrich Wilke in any of the ancestry that I know. All of these German names do start sounding the same however. Sorry I can't help. Steve
