In the Wilhoite Cemetery in Roane Co, TN, there is an Elizabeth GILES with an unmarked stone. In Roane County Cemeteries, Vol 3, Rockwood, she appears to have some connection with Boss ISHAM. Here's how the listing appears in the book (page 368):
GILES, Elizabeth --- --- u/m - Boss Isham
The cemetery is said to be located on a farm on the left side of Highway 27 north, between Rockwood and Harriman, near the railroad tracks, I believe. The (old) directions in the cemetery volume appear to suggest that the cemetery is closer to Rockwood than to Harriman.
Who is Boss ISHAM? How does he fit into Roane County, Tennessee ISAHAMS? Does anyone have any information about Elizabeth? Does anyone have any dates for either Boss or Elizabeth? Does anyone know of a relationship of either of them to the WILHITE/WILLHITE/WILHOITE families?
