My grandfather: Russell E. Wilgus (son of Edward Wilgus), was sent to live for a time with family in Newton, Sussex county NJ. It was there that he met my grandmother Helen Henderson. My father never said the names of the family he lived with just that he stayed there with a cousin. Also my grandfather had family in both Barnegat, NJ (Ocean county) and Sandy Hook, NJ.I have lost my trail at my great grandfather Edward and all I know is he lived in Columbia NJ and is buried in Blairstown NJ. I know he and his wife had five children four girls and a boy. He worked on the railroad and in fog was knocked from a train car (he walked the tops of them) and fell losing his arm. that's about all I know of him. I hope this helps and if you can tell me anything please do.

Thank you
