For any obituary for anyone anywhere check with the County or municipal library. If they have a genealogy section that is even better. A reference librarian will know where to get an obit if they do not have one.
For Lynwood Public Library which is part of the Los Angeles County library system go to http://library.public-libraries.org/California/Lynwood/LynwoodLibrary.html
I would make a phone call but if they have an email address you then will have saved a history of your conversation with them.
I would also check the library in Hot Springs, Arkansas since she was buried there she undoubtedly still had family there. In those situations there was usually an obit published also.
