The family listed in Hamilton Tennessee is my family and I have that information. I am just trying to trace them from there. We know that around 1920-30 the three children and another child, Wilma were traded for a team of mules in Delight Arkansas. The children were taken in by families in that area, W.W. Wingfield, Ray Taylor, Charity Steed. I don't have any information on these families. Don't know if it was the father and (stepmother) who traded them or the mother and another man who traded them. The story is that they were traveling to or from Oklahoma and could not care for them as they were ill. The oldest, Fanny, 16 years old at the time was very ill and passed shortly after. Barter or Baxter is a son of David A. McNabb living in Fulton Ga, according to the 1900 census. Lula's mother's name is said to be Eve (Adkinson) thought to be Cherokee or Choctaw. Family may have been in Georgia, Arkansas or Oklahoma after 1920. Thank you so much for your help. It is appreciated. Craig
