Researching Wiles families around Middletown, MD

I am beginning research on my mother's family. Her father was Clarence Elmer Wiles married to Florence V Whipp.I believe that her 2nd Grt Grandfather was Peter Wiles,b. 1796 in Fred. County,MD. I would appreciate any document ed info on this Wiles family, especially on the country of origin. Thanks.
