Hi.. I saw your posting..in your research have you found anything on another line in upstate ny which went by the spellings of Wilday or Wyldy?? They were in Schenectady in the mid 1700's and then migrated to Berne and Schoharie county, NY

My great grandfather was Morgan D. Wilday, and lived in Greene county NY. he changed the spelling of his name from Wilday to Wildey to help his blacksmith shop customers pronounce his name better.

any clues you might have would be appreciated.
