Hi Norma, My ancestor had the Wilbar spelling...he was Henry Wilbar who immigrated to VA w/his wife and three children, from Brighton, UK, where he had a school for boys. We have done a little genealogy in England but not a lot. I do know that his name goes back to Wilbore and I would like to know more. How can I get the web site that you mentioned so that I can see the house? I have the genealogy of his family in the US. He spent the rest of his life in Alexandria, VA. His busineses are listed in the book "Merchants in Alexandria".
