He was born 13 June 1745 in Middletown Ct. a twin brother of Aaron, son of Janna and Rachel Boardman Wilcox. He married (1) Hannah Rogers on 31 July 1765 in Chatham, Middlesex Co. Ct. (Middletown Vital Records). He had children Ephraim (Osborne), Rachel (Middletown Vital Records), Hannah (Colebrook Vital Records), and possibly John (Chris Bright). He was living in Colebrook with his wife Hannah and his daughter Hannah in 1783 (Colebrook Vital Records: "Eleazor Bidwell, a grand juror brought action on Oct. 13, 1783, for breach of peace vs. Moses Wilcox, of Colebrook, his wife Hannah and his daughter Hannah and in March 1784 the defendants appealed. Elijah Rockwell, J.P."). He married (2) Lydia Lancey in 1787 and was living in Colebrook (Osborne). He is listed on the 1800 federal census of Colebrook, Ct. with one free white male aged 10-15, one free white male aged over 45 and one free white female aged over 45.(Ancestry). He served in the Revolutionary War and died in 1835 in Connecticut (Osborne).
