My Grandfather, Wm Phillipes Wilcox (1890 - 1985) was from Somerville, NJ, his Father, John Harvey Wilcox (1848-1919) also NJ, prior to that I have found GGGF Erastus Wilcox of Killingworth, CT. My Great Aunt, Cora Wilcox, did a great deal of genealogy work and claimed that our line arrived fifteen years after the "Pilgrims", haven't been able to confirm her claim, I'd guess it was Wm Wilcox or son Joseph in 1635. I've been trying to find my Grandfather's nephews and nieces who may have been born to Alex, George, Robert, Charles - CT, OH, IL in the 1920's and 1930's any connections to this lineage is appreciated.
