well it has always been said that she was unmarried - so that sounds about right. But then it comes down to the father/s and who he/they might be. You say there was the name Winsor associated with Harry. So perhaps that was her mother's maiden name ... or [I surmised] the father's name.

So I plunged in and from memory I discovered lots of Willcocks' from Widecombe in the Moor and in the midst of that the name Winsor did pop up. Then I got distracted by the fact that on some censuses I found the name appeared to be Wilcocks [one L], and there was this other family by the name of Willcocks that seemed to be hovering around. I think I got myself a little cross-eyed.

Hence the genealogist.

Yes the contact thing is tricky. How does one do that. I will ponder that overnight.
