oh this is such good news - I had employed a geneaologist to find out what happened to Richard and Harry - of course that report was not due for another month. Ok - well the half-brother thing is what I have been told - it may not be true. But that may be confirmed in the report, as [I hope] will the father of GCW - which has so far proved elusive.

Anyway GCW had five children with a widow by the name of Maryanne Craig [nee MacCechnie] a Scottish lass. Although I think they met and married in South Africa. Anyway one of those five kids was Robert James Willcocks. Robert James, in addition to being a great sportsman, fathered three children - Robert, Charles and Hazel. Hazel is my mother. She married my father Edwin Murray Watson and we three kids grew up outside Young NSW.
