My G-G-Grandfather,John Wilcher was born in Va.in 1807.I've been trying to find his parents.I believe they moved to Ky. when he was a boy.He was supposed to have been well-educated and a minister. His 1st.child was born in Ky.abt.1829 and named Montgomery. His 2nd child,David was born the following year.I believe his 1st wife died because there is a space of abt.5 years and then Sarah Ann was born in Tn.That wife must have died too because in 1840 he married for the 3rd.time-Francia(Francis)Mahala Doss and the 3 children are living with them in the 1850 census in Marshall Co.,Alabama.The census taker spelled their name Wilsher!I'd like to know the names of the other wives and what happened to all the children. We only know about 4 from the last marriage and they had 7 more. The ones we know of were:H.T.,Rebecca,Caroline & David Delaney Wilcher. The ones I'm still searching for are:Montgomery,David,Sarah Ann,John T.,Mary Emily,& Ben F.Wilcher.
