Question about book Wildbores in America
I was able to find a copy of the book Wildbores in America online. I thought it might help in tracing my family line through the Wilber family that I know of. I have been able to trace the tree back to a Job Wilber in western New York. And after looking at the book, I was taken back by page 3 of the annex. This is a copy of the text I found there:
A2164—DELOS.
had—
Samuel, Abner, Job, Sarah, Betsey, Hannah.
Samuel had—
Delos, bAug. 28, 1829, (see below) Marie, Seth, Betsey.
Alzina, ra — Crosby.
Job had—
Oliver, Samuel, Charles.
Sarah, m — Chapman, had—
Frank, Doe, Margaret, Adaline, Laura.
Betsey, m Midbury, had—
Mary, Alzina, Marie, Betsey, Joseph, WiUiam, Angeline.
Hannah, m Tenant.
I am a direct decendant of Job, his son Samuel was my GG Grandfather. Now if I understand this correctly, there is no direct link to the Wildbores that originally settled in New England. I am just wondering if any link has been made or if anyone has any further information on this line going back from Job.
