I recently went to Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia and when I was taking some old flowers to a trash can, I saw several graves with the Wilbanks name on them. I didn't have a piece of paper with me at the time to get the names and dates. I have some time off next week and I will be going by and writing down names and dates and then posting on the website.
What got my attention about the headstones, was
there was a man there in a pickup truck who got out a big sheet of paper and put it over the headstone and used a pencil to make copies of the names and dates. I thought this was sort of odd and after he left, I returned to my mother's grave and saw he was making a copy of a Wilbanks headstone.
Does anyone out there know who the Wilbanks are that are buried in Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.
