Appreciate your contact and information.
I apologize for tardiness in replying; your post was overlooked temporarily.
Yes, I'd like to correspond.
Any chance you will share email address with me?
My genealogy work is in fits and starts -- as "real life" demands attention. But I am faithful to the pursuit of the
Wilbanks' family in Murray Co.My great-grandmother, Rebecca (Becky) Melinda Wilbanks married Jasper REED, Murray Co GA.Becky Wilbanks Reed was the d/o Wm. Jackson (Jack) Wilbanks, whom I believe to have been the s/o a Wm. Wilbanks who was on the 1840 Murray Co GA census; he removed by 1850 to Walker Co GA and is shown on the 1850 census there living adjacent to his daughter, who had m.
Andrew Johnson in Murray County. He may be the same Wm. Wilbanks whose death was listed in the 1860 AL (can't recall county adjacent to GA at this moment) mortality schedule. His age was shown as 94 at death; he had given his age (if he knew it or if it were reported correctly) in 1850 Walker Co as 74 years old.
Many of the Wilbanks' line moved into AL and ever westward.

I'm surprised Joe Wilbanks and Olive Carder married in Atlanta, GA; I was fairly sure I had seen that marriage record in Murray Co GA, my home county (county seat Chatsworth).Note her surname was CarDer; there were Carders in old census records Murray County.
If you have a chance to review the Murray Co GA census (you'll have to determine the year) to check on your Joe and Olive Wilbanks and their family. The children up to that point will be listed.
Unfortunately, I don't subscribe to a census program and don't have it from previous records searches.
