I am searching for any info on the following
family....
My grandfather was John Richard Wilander,
who settled in Chester, Mass. His father
was Johan Villehad who changed surname
to Vilander then Wilander. The original
surname in Finland was Kauhkola or Kaukola.
Johan Villehad's brothers took surnames
of Arenius, Kauhkola and Frederickson.
I believe they settled in Massachusetts,
either in the Western part of the state or
around Quincy area.
Willing to share what I have put together
so far with any new found "cousins".
