re John Wignall who married Mary Peet o 5th Sept. 1804, their son Richard, christened 25th March 1816, married Ann Robinson in 1844. The grandson of this couple was Joseph Green, born 1886 and married my father's (Herbert Wignall's)
cousin Isabella Rimmer in 1912. The name Wignall seems to have been very common in the Banks/Hesketh Banks area. Isabella's mother, Dorothy Rimmer was born Dorothy Wignall and was my great aunt but I have not been able to trace any relationship between her and the John Wignall who you are researching.
