Ellen,
Looked at your information from every direction I could think of, but didn't come up with anything on Octavia Jarman. Although the Wigley surname is thought to be English originally there are quite a few that married native Americans, so Octavia's Wigley may very well have been part American Indian. As for Oklahoma...Several Wigley families went there from Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi..and other places. Lots put down roots there and others just passed thru. On your gr grandmother Nancy S. Josephene Canant Jarman...She may have more than one middle name or just picked up a name unrelated to her actual name. At least one of the Wigley branches gave their kids 2 middle names and they used a different name in every census. Anyway if Octavia married a Wigley from Paulding Co., Ga. I probably have him in my base, but none I see married to an Octavia. She mave have also been known by something else.
Dan
