ANNIE W. WIGGS
Annie Whitley Wiggs, 93, died Wednesday at Beverly Health Care in Tarboro. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Edgewood Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Queen Anne Cemetery, Fountain.
Mrs. Wiggs was preceded in death by her husband Rev. P.C. Wiggs; daughters, Linda Moore, Racheal Wiggs; sons, Bill Wiggs, Gene Wiggs and Dalton Wayne Wiggs.
Wiggs was a lifelong member of Edgewood Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Ruth W. White and husband Lewis Sr. of Creedmoor, Agnes W. Cale and husband Don of Whitakers; sons, Jerry Wiggs of Rocky Mount, Joseph Wiggs and wife Nina of Rocky Mount and Phil Wiggs and wife Ernestine, Lucama; a daughter-in-law, Peggy H. Wiggs of Pinetops; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., tonight at Carlisle Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jerry Wiggs, Pleasant Hill Road, Rocky Mount.
Arrangements by Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro.
