I have been successful in submitting my supplemental on Henry Wigginton to the DAR. He was verified for me in the summer of 2010. My cousin, Lena Graves, out of Stamping Ground, KY, helped me greatly by giving me much of her documentation on him. As for the SAR, I have visited the Louisville headquarters about three times~ before they moved into their new building. I found the staff very helpful. I was doing research on about seven supplementals there. It is true that some of the old data was incorrect; the same can be said of the DAR. Through research and the great benefit of the computer age, some of these old errors can be corrected. And that has been happening in both organizations. We can all work together to share the most accurate information.
I am sorry I cannot help you with George Wigginton. All if have regarding a "Plunkett" is the following:
Sarah (Sallie) Plunkett lived in Oraange Co. VA. She m. Thomas Miller. He was b. 20 March 1736 and died in KY. Their first three children were born in VA.
Good Luck, & Happy Hunting
