I have a George William Bagent born March 31, 1858 at Hagerstown Maryland, who was the son of William and Elizabeth Wiggington Bagent. Cannot find out who his grandfather would have been. The newspaper article states his mother's maiden name was Wiggington. We cannot find anything else except an 1870 census which we simply cannot connect.

Edy Wigginton Age - cannot read / Born Maryland
Willie Bagent Age 15 Born Virginia Boy Labor
John Bagent Age 9 Born Virginia At Home
This looks like it might be John but not sure
Jackson Wigginton Age 5 Born Maryland
Annie Wigginton Age 25 Born Pennsylvania
