Dan, This is Dottie (Rippy) DeShazier. We emailed each other several years back. Thought I would bring you up to date. My sister and I had my dad who is 79 years old DNA tested through FamilyTreeDNA. My dad's DNA came back that he was not related to the Rippy's that his real last name was Wigginton. Paula Wigginton Mahan's dad and my dad had the same markers. Do you know her ? Dottie
