I wish I could help you...the fact of the matter is the only information I know right now is what I had in the initial note. Do you have any information on Frederick Wiggins? According to some earlier information I happened on information re> your grandmother's grandfather.Who was your grandmother. Did your family stay in the Craven Co. area or did they move after the war? I live in Virginia and Joseph Wiggins was my grandmother's grandfather (Major Wiggins).Major married Sarah Witherington and had one son
(Kelly Arthur)...after the war Major did not return nor was listed as missing in action. Kelly Arthur Married Mary Godley in Chocowinty. They had Lona Wiggins/ Sarah Wiggins/ Mary Wiggins/ Leonard Mclaren Wiggins/ Mamie Wiggins / Joseph B. Wiggins and Laura Wiggins.......all in this group are deceased.Most of them lived in Beaufort County NC. Does any of this information match anything passed down ???
