Hello, I would be willing to share information with you and try to get everything straight since I think my family may have visited with Henry Weitor of Chicago. You see a man named Valentine Zoller born February 18, 1833 in Simmern, Luxemburg – married in October 4, 1859 in Chicago to Madeline Reimers or Reinberg since I see it spelled different ways in various obits. The sequence of events for Vallentine went that in 1856 he took a claim near New Prague, Minnesota then returned to Chicago got married and came back with bride (Madeline) to New Prague where they lived for six years – after that they move to Shakopee in 1865 where they lived the rest of their lives. Some of the Zollers married into a line called Ballingers of that same city in Shakopee, Minnesota. In fact on Vallentine's obit it lists at the end stating "Relatives and friends who came from distant points in attendance at the funeral were Adolph Zenter, Henry Weitor of Chicago, Mr and Mrs. T. Flemming of Rock Rapids, Iowa et al. Please let me know if you can help me with this side since its still a mystery to me. Thanks in advance! :) Michael Glowartz West Toluca Lake, Minnesota Notify Administrator about this message?
