Christian William Wiese was born March 23, 1872 in Todtenhausen, Germany to Johann Julius AUGUST Wiese and Catherine Wilhelmin CAROLINE Busse. The names in all-caps are the ones they were known by.
Christian married Effie May Young Aug.29,1912 and they had Alice Marie Wiese about 1913. Alice married Earl Weule and had Richard Weule.
Christian's wife Effie May Young died 1/13/1916. He married Margaret B "Maggie" Roach or Roche Abt. 1921. They had William Mason Wiese, Sr. on Aug. 5, 1923 in St. Louis.
I think they had a son, William Mason Wiese, Jr. b. Aug. 5, 1923. I have no other children for them, but my research is sketchy.
Anyway, William Mason had William Mason, Jr., and a daughter Lorraine A. Wiese. I don't yet know who William Sr. married. I have corresponded with Lorraine, but not much.
Christian was a carriage trimmer by profession. He died of a stroke May 7, 1952 in Infirmary Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Maggie Roach Wiese died 1961. Christian is buried in New Bethlehem Cemetery, St. Louis.
William Mason Sr. died Feb. 14, 1995 in Festus, MO.
I have a lot of information on Christian's parents and grandparents. But I'm pretty sure we're related. My family came from Christian's sister Caroline, who married Gustave Charles Sawade. They had my grandfather, Gustave Wilhelm Sawade, who left a detailed account of the family. Gus Wilhelm married Thelma Olive Sloan and they had my mother Merlyn Collis. She married my dad, William Harvey McGinnis, and had me, Debra Jean McGinnis.
