I would like to know if anyone reading the Wiese Genealogy forum has encountered the immigration of John Henry Wiese, age 47 and his assumed wife Anna Dorothea Wiese, age 58, and two women (children) Elizabeth Wiese, age 22, and Maria Wiese, age 24. They came to the States on October 1, 1844 aboard Ship Elise. They were part of a group of 20 who left Goldenstedt, Germany and headed for Cincinnati, OH. The 1850 census shows Anna Wiese living with my Great Great Grandfather Bernhard Suelter (Sülter) in Cincinnati. I would like to know if Anna was his wife and what her maiden name was.
