Dear Thierry

My grandfather Baltis Wiertz came to America in the 1870's as a young man and farmed in Central Illinois around Toluca. He had two brothers, John and Adolph. I thind Baltis was a wheel maker in Germany and lived in Cologne. I have a good handle on my Wiertz's in America, but very little of the connections in Germany. Could you be of help?
