David Wiens-Blumstein-Tashken-US

Does anyone have information about a David Wiens born 7 July 1874 to Dietrich Wiens and Katherine Warkentin? The family lived in Blumstein, Molotschna colony, Russia, then went east to Tashkent (turkestan) in the early 1880s. Dietrich Wiens died enroute to Tashkent as did at least three of David's brothers. He, his mother, several sisters and two married sisters and their families immigrated to the US around 1884. I know the one sister Katherine Wiens Koop and family settled in Buhler, Kansas (this is our direct relative to this family). I don't know where Margaret Wiens Riffel and family settled nor do I know where Katherine Warkentin wiens (the mother), David and his sisters settled. One relative says David settled in South Dakota. Another says he was at one time the postmaster in Duluth, Minnesota. I don't know which information is true. One descendant of Margaret Wiens Riffel contacted me but died before I had to chance to get more information from her. She was from Chicago.

If you have any information, please let me know.

Thanks,
Amy
