It was with great interest that I read of this reunion. My G Aunts Callista and Ida Wieneke were in attendance;I knew them in my childhood in IA. Also present were my grandmother Bertha, nee Wieneke, (Mrs. Frank Augustine), grandfather Frank, my father Elmer, uncle Bernard, and aunts Hazel, Esther & Juanita. All of the above have passed on. I do have a pictures of the Weineke family home in Dyersville..
Do you, have you posted a Weineke family tree with the information you have? I do not know the lineage past the above. I think it goes to Dortmund, Germany. I plan to visit in Germany studying my "roots" next Spring. I would love to know more and to know if and who I have, as Wieneke relatives there, and if the house of the emigrant relaive Wieneke still stands.
