Gotlieb In Mo 1850's

Searching for data on Gotlieb Wieman 24 April 1828-3 Feb 1919. He was in Nw Mo in the 1850's and had a son William in 1863.Gotlieb was a carpenter and married a 2nd time in 1879 to Karoline Frauenfelder in St Joseph, Mo and died St Joseph, Mo. Looks as tho he may have been married when he came as I have not been able to locate any earlier marriage record but I don't know for sure. Does anyone know when he entered the US? Who was Wife #1 (maybe Theresa) ? Did he come to the US alone? Pretty much any data on this fella would be helpful. Thanks
