Just ran into this site and was browsing about when I found these posts. My name is Wesley Wieland. My father, LeVerne R. Wieland, was born in Lancaster WI to Otto and Metta Wieland. My aunt, Nola, still lives on the family farm there.
Otto had several brothers; George and Henry are the ones I recall, But there were a couple more. One died at a young age and another had polio which crippled his left arm. Some of the other names that tie in (though I am not sure how) are Pagenkaupf and Benke. My aunt Nola has collected quite a bit of history about the family. So if anyoune is still interested, I can provide contact info.
