Hi! I have a Franz Weiland born 11/22/1842 in Nieder-Roden. I wonder if there is any relation to your Elizabeth? He was married to Maria Theresia Kraus on 2/27/1870 in Nieder-Roden. Maria was born 7/5/1842 in Ober-Roden, and died 1/3/1878 in Nieder-Roden. They had 3 children: Nikolaus, Philipp, and Franziska. Franz married again, but after his second wife died in 1881, he and the 3 children came to the US and settled in NW Minnesota. Please let me know if you think there could be a connection.
