I'm trying to find info about my maternal grandmother's family.
Not much is known, my gramma was 21 days short of 100
when she died in the early 1990's but nobody thought to ask
and her father had died before my mother & uncle knew him.
My grandmother's name is Edith Wieland, married Edward
Pearson ca 1912 and was from NYC. Father was a German
migrant rumored to be a close relative of the German poet
and to have been from Berlin area, which is all anybody seems
to know at this point.
Pretty vague, huh?
