If you are speaking about the Adam Wiegand that died in Deerfield, NY (near Utica, NY) on or about February 21, 1892 --- according to his brother Julius' obituary Julius was born in Rasdorf, Hessen,Germany, and their parents were John A. Wiegand and Marie Therese Dietz Wiegand. Julius Wiegand died at the age of 89 in 1923. So I assume that this is where Adam was born as well.
