I was reading your message and saw some similarities. My great-great grandmother was Teofila Wieczorek (married name Baczkowski, Bonchowski, Bonschock), daughter of Paul Wieczorek & Mary Waina. Although I can only place her as living in Shamokin, PA , her family has ties to the Chicago area, not that far from Milwaukee. As adults many of her children moved to Chicago from Shamokin. I became curious when you mentioned the name Pietruchowski. Teofila's daughter Victoria selected a Walter Pietruchowski as godfather for her twin girls Eleanor & Eva. I was just wondering if this may somehow be my tie. I know in addition to Teofila, Mary and Paul had three other daughters. Of them one was named Katherine. They also had a son Andrew.
