Anton was the child of Albertina Wieczorek and Fr. Wilhelm Grutza. Albertina went to Detroit, Michigan and gave birth to a son. He was placed in foster care and given the name Anthony Pietroszewski. On November 30, 1896 when Anton was 11 months old he was placed in the care of St. Vincent's Infant Asylum of Milwaukee. On June 17, 1897 he was adopted by Albertina & Joseph Szpak, her new husband. He was 18 months old when he was adopted. When Joseph Szpak/Spack died, she married Valentina Kubel. They lived in South Milwaukee, Wi. Also in South Milwaukee was an Anton & Helen Wieczorek.

Albertina's parents were John Wieczorek and Appolonia Krygrin from Poland.

I believe Albertina was born abt 1878.

I have no info on Albertina's ancestors so I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks!
