Did you think of the variation to the name as Wiebenga - in a family genealoy book for which I have some extracts there is many variations - Wiebe, Wiebes, Wieber, etc.
My familey has Wiebenga from the Friesland Island of Ameland NL.
Just an area for you to think about.
