Derk, I was just looking at your information in My family tree on the Widrig side of the family . Waht i saw is that your Lorentz Widrig was born 1/9/1795 and the son of Jacob Widrig is there. What I dont know if you are aware is that his wife's name though is Polly Bargy and her birth year was 1799 and she died Sept 15, 1848 in a plalce called Schuyter, New York.1 of her names can be a nick name maybe. Lorentz and Polly Bargy had 11 children and that I have as well. You may want to go see the things on the Widrig reseach that is on its web page of accessre@flash.net . Richard Widrig of L.A. California is the person that puts it out and thats how I found out about it. I know you will see a lot that you may not have at this point. I hope I have been of help for you.
