Sara Widrig Gunby, Western NY, d. 1855

From Gunby family records I have a tiny bit of information about my grgrgrgrandmother Sara Widrig. She married Anthony Gunby who was born in England in 1826, came to Canada at 1833 with his parents, and ran away to Niagara County, NY while still a teenager. He married Sara there and they had 5 children, the eldest--my grgrgrandfather Ezra Gunby--born in 1848, and the youngest in 1854, before she died in 1855.

I hope you've all found the Civil War Research Database that's been posted in the free databases section of Ancestry.com. (It's the one developed by Historical Data Systems.) From the records I've found that Anthony Gunby enlisted in H Co. 151st Inf. Reg. from Royalton NY on 2/20/1864. Already enlisted in that same company were two Widrigs from Royalton, Simon who enlisted 8/3/1862 at age 28 as a Corporal, and Nelson, who joined up as a Private on 9/6/1862 at age 27. They were undoubtably his former kin...brothers-in-law, cousins-in-law, or even nephews? To further the relationship theory, both Anthony G. and Nelson W. transferred from Co.H to Co.E on 12/21/1864.

Anyone have any clues to help me find Sara's parents?
