Ella, Thank you for the response. I descend from Sanford WIDRIG, b. 18 OCT 1831. He was the son of John WIDRIG & Maria Christman, I thought. From what you say, Maria is not mine, but the second wife, Margaret UNKNOWN is. Sanford WIDRIG married a Susan UNKNOWN and they had four children that I know of. From those four, I descend from William Sanford WIDRIG who married Sarah Adaline CLARK. Michael WIDRIG, b. 1735, Germany, was the father of George WIDRIG. I am planning a trip to Sandy Creek, NY in August to further my research. I will e-mail you directly.
