Hello!

I am wondering if you would be able to help me understand who James Wideman may be. In a 1838 Marriage of a George Long and Celestia Stevens, one of their two witnesses were: James Wideman and Mary Avery. George Long and Celestia Stevens were of Uxbridge, Ontario Canada.

Might you have any information contained within the Wideman Genealogy as to who James Wideman married..don't know his age..only the above information.
Also, too, if you there is any information contained within the same book relative to any of the above names.

We are trying to understand if there is any family connection between the Wideman/Avery/Long/Stevens-Stephens families.

Celestia's parents were: Allen R. Stevens and Sarah Baker of Pickering.
George's Parents were: Joseph and Hannah Long/Uxbridge

Thanks so much for any help - it will be appreciated!
Michelle
