Hi Jenny,
Thanks for all the information on the various James Wickwire's in the family. I have thoroughly enjoyed reviewing your note against my files. I have a few comments on some of the individuals.
I don't have any information on a James that died 22 Nov 1872 but I do have James, born 21 July 1872, son of Jehial B. and Jannet Scott Wickwire. Jehial and Jannet were from Canada but can't connect them to BC.
The James Wickwire born in 1818 that I have was the son of James Wickwire and Rachel Munger, not Aldrich. However, either Munger or Aldrich could have been from a previous marriage.
The James I have born in 1845 was married to Amy Eliza Palmer by my records, instead of Emma.
James Morton Wickwire is unmarried in my files and the James that is married to Alletha Nutter was the son of Charles and Christina Fulck Wright Wickwire.
In my records I have Jason L. Wickwire as the son of William Coatsworth and Edith Alberta Fox Wickwire, but after checking several genealogical databases it appears his correct name is James Lawrence as you have it. The dates you list are new to me.
I haven't had any luck on the Caroline Wickwire and her parents James and Emma. But I will keep looking.
On the Samuel Peter Wickwire family I am very close to identifying this line and will send it to you when I get time to write it all up.
Thanks very much for all the help and great information. Also, the website you mentioned had even more great information. I encourage everyone to visit it. Unfortunately I found several more enticing mysteries at the site.
