I have a direct ancester named John Wickwire. This is all I know. b. 1777; m. Rhoda Hubbard. He served in the War of 1812, and received a land grant in 1859. He resided at Batavia, NY, in1821; removed about 1840 to Pierpont, Ashtabula County, Ohio; about 1847 to Winslow, Ill. He died in 1863. Six children; Mary E.,George H., Ely,b.Jan.2,1815, Henry E.,b.Aug.28,1815, Josiah H., Ezra D.,b.1821
