If you look at my post below you will see that two of the nine Sons of John Wickett and Nancy Weaver were James and Henry. I have a family history compiled by my Grandfather's cousin, the late John Berton(Bert) Sills that he gave to my father and I was able to make a copy of it last week. It states: "The wives of James and Henry were sisters, Their name was Chinnery, Eliza and Maria." Bert later says Henry Wickett was a farmer as were Richard, Daniel and Emanuel(my gggrandfather) all in the vicinity of Foxboro.
Your many times great uncle James who maried your many times great aunt Eliza was a Mason and assisted in building of both the Holloway Street Methodist church and the West Belleville Methodist Church. Bert says that on the rear wall of the sanctuary of the Holloway Street church is a copper plaque which has the following inscription on it.
TO THE GLORY OF GOD IN LOVING MEMORY OF JAMES AND ELIZA WICKETT,
CHARTER MEMBER OF THE HOLLOWAY STREET CHURCH.
DEDICATED IN THE 76th YEAR OF THIS CHURCH.
I have James' obituary. He was married for 54 years had died at age 79 and was obvioulsy a pillar of the community. I don't have as much info on Henry and Maria. Anyway, we are very distant cousins.
