I have been digging around on the web inspired by Fred’s success in finding the 1841 census records from Cornwall.
At this site I found the following burial record

Wickett, John, 1793 - 1867, h/o Nancy (1800 - 1883), Foxboro Cemetery, Thurlow Township
I presume this is the John Wickett who was married to Nancy Weaver and was the father of John, Thomas, James, William, Henry, Richard, Daniel, Alfred, Joanna and my gggrandfather Emanuel. He is probably the one who arrived PE 1842 as I said before.
In the Thurlow county census of 1851 I found John, Henry, Ann, Emmanuel, Daniel and Alfred

And I found William, John G. (born Canada) Albert and Annie E

I also found James and Eliza (Chinnery) Wickett listed as Wickit in Belleville. I have no idea how this misspelling occured. I have Jame's obituary and it is correctly spelled as Wickett. John (age 1) and Mary (age 5) must be their children. They also had a son named Thomas who dedicated a plaque to them on the wall of the Methodist church in Belleville as I mentioned before.
