Hello Lori: Read your post. My great-grandmother was Adelaide Wible (a different spelling); born Mason City, Illinois May 17, 1840; dau. of Lewis Wible and Mary Jane Whitehand. With those dates, it could be that your Adalaide may have been a sister to my Lewis Wible, I do not have his birthdate, nor birthplace. He could have named his daughter after his sister, and mispelled it! Just a "stab in the dark", but if you know of a Lewis Wible, it could be! I have read the Wible Genforum, and find that they were in Penna. Time and places, could be that Lewis came to Illinois from Penn...........many did about then.
